artSLAM: the ultimate variety show
Music, contemporary dance, sketch and stand-up comedy, live visual art and other lively forms of entertainment for adults will make up this 90 min. show. Think Saturday Night Live or The Tonight Show or, for those of you who go way back, The Ed Sullivan Show.

WHO:
Singers, musicians, dancers, video artists, actors, comedians, poets, live visual artists, circus performers, magicians or any other artistic performers. We’re looking for any and all performance artists! and live visual artists are invited to apply for inclusion in the 2017 artSLAM season.
WHAT:
Live performance in a fast-paced, engaging adult variety show
WHY:
Keshet Ideas and Innovation Community (KIIC) endeavors to see artists and arts entrepreneurs grow and become sustainable, bringing excellence and economic stability to the arts economy here in New Mexico. www.Keshetarts.org/kiic All artists involved in artSLAM are paid a stipend. Artist Agreements are finalized upon acceptance into the curated season.
Keshet Center for the Arts is a creative community anchor that educates, entertains and engages; housing and uniting the arts, the artist and the audience.

Call for Art Vendors
At each artSLAM: The Ultimate Variety Show – Keshet Center for the Arts opens up 6 spaces (room for a 6′-8′ table) for arts vendors to display their work to show patrons.
Vendors must be set up by 6:30pm; Be available for Intermission and 20 mins after the show prior to packing up.
Vending fee: $25 (free for KIIC Members) is due prior to the show date. Cancellations or no-shows are charged a $10 cancellation fee.
