SUMMARY:"MONARCH" Auditions Open Call!
DESCRIPTION:Keshet Dance Company New Works presents the latest full-length production from Keshet: MONARCH. Featuring a cast of Keshet Company Dancers\, Pre-Professional Students\, and community dancers ages 10+\, and choreographed by Keshet’s own Laura Orozco Garrett\, MONARCH uses the life cycle of a monarch butterfly to explore themes of immigration\, loss\, transformation\, longing\, the beauty of life\, separation\, and ultimately hope.  \nMONARCH asks us to reflect on the balance of the natural world and the anxiety and fear in today’s political climate. Where is the hope? Who do we turn to? How do we protect the most vulnerable in our community?  \nWant to join the cast of MONARCH?\nWe are holding auditions August 8 at the Keshet Center for the Arts!
