Keshet Dance & Center for the Arts receives $7,500 grant from Meow Wolf Foundation supporting the healing power of art
Keshet Dance and Center for the Arts has received a $7,500 grant from Meow Wolf Foundation to support Keshet programming. This grant will support the expansion of resource delivery and support services for arts entrepreneurs within the Keshet Ideas and Innovation Center (KIIC), Keshet’s business resource program for artists, and ongoing growth of Keshet’s Arts & Justice Initiatives (AJI).
KIIC provides a unique combination of artistic residency space and arts business learning with a priority given to durational and intentional community engagement and social justice practices. AJI connects the dots between direct service within the juvenile prison system, policy/advocacy, and research/evaluation, addressing field connectivity for the broad spectrum of organizations that work in arts and justice.
Shira Greenberg, Keshet’s Founder and Artistic Director states, “We are truly honored to be a part of this inaugural cohort of funding recipients from the Meow Wolf Foundation! It’s particularly meaningful to be working in partnership with a foundation that centers the power of the arts and the value of the artists in the work of community engagement and community transformation.”
Thank you, Meow Wolf Foundation! We’re thrilled about the endless possibilities your support unlocks!
