Keshet Youth Leadership Council Presents: Healing and Community vs. Punishment and Incarceration

Join us for an interactive presentation and facilitated conversation to discuss the current state of our juvenile legal systems, and proposed alternatives for a stronger and healthier community.
“Rehabilitation happens in the context of relationships. Meanwhile, virtually every aspect of our juvenile prison system is designed to disrupt and deny relationships, not foster or forge them.” – Nell Bernstein, Burning Down the House.
This event is open to community members as well as local and state officials. Participation is free, however, registration is required.
