Arts Access Workshop
Arts Access Workshop
Providing children, youth and adults with sensory and cognitive deficits the opportunity to experience the arts
A two-day workshop with Roger Ideishi JD, OT/L, FAOTA for artists, health professionals, educators, arts organizations and art centers
When: May 18th and 19th, 2019
9am – 4pm (with 1 hr lunch break; lunch provided on Saturday only)
Where: Keshet Center for the Arts; 4121 Cutler Ave NE, ABQ 87110 / 505.224.9808
Purpose: To facilitate and generate regional ideas and strategies for New Mexican arts, health, and educational professionals to create accessible arts engagement in the home, schools, and community for individuals with disabilities and their families.
A focus will include sensory and cognitive based frameworks and strategies for meaningful arts engagement for children, youth, and adults with developmental disabilities.
OTs and OTAs can receive 6/12 CEUs for this event.
Cost: $75 for 1 day, or $125 for the full 2-day workshop

JOIN US FOR THE FESTIVAL PERFORMANCE, SATURDAY, JUNE 1 @ 7:30PM
Albuquerque’s Hear Here Festival 2019 Creation and Collaboration in Music, Poetry, and Dance; The Albuquerque Hear Here Festival is a platform for local artists to create new, collaborative work with production support and financial resources from the Keshet Ideas and Innovation Community and the City of Albuquerque’s Tipping Points Initiative. 2 weeks to collaborate, create and then perform!
