“MONARCH” Auditions Open Call!

Keshet Dance Company New Works presents the latest full-length production from Keshet: MONARCH. Featuring a cast of Keshet Company Dancers, Pre-Professional Students, and community dancers ages 10+, and choreographed by Keshet’s own Laura Orozco Garrett, MONARCH uses the life cycle of a monarch butterfly to explore themes of immigration, loss, transformation, longing, the beauty of life, separation, and ultimately hope.
MONARCH asks us to reflect on the balance of the natural world and the anxiety and fear in today’s political climate. Where is the hope? Who do we turn to? How do we protect the most vulnerable in our community?

We are holding auditions August 8 at the Keshet Center for the Arts! We welcome all dancers of all levels and all physical abilities (ages 10+) who want to dance with us!
