Helanius J. Wilkins returns to the Keshet Presenting Voices Series with his project: The Conversation Series: Stitching the Geopolitical Quilt to Re-Body Belonging, conceived by Helanius J. Wilkins. This project is an ongoing multi-year, multimedia dance and social justice work. It confronts and celebrates heritage, resiliency, justice, and hope across all 50 U.S. States/D.C./inhabited territories.
This is Helanius’ third visit to New Mexico and Keshet! During this visit he will be focusing on working with Keshet’s Pre-Professional Program (KP3) students on developing choreography, centered around the work they did together during his last visit.
